I started Element Design Inc after years of designing in a hi-end interior design showroom, followed by becoming a general contractor building custom homes and doing remodels for 5 years. My true love is interior design, and I decided to focus on that. My experience as a builder gave me a well-rounded understating of all the intricacies that are part of a project, which is incredibly valuable now as I’m working with builders' clients.   

My goal is to make the process as easy and enjoyable as possible for everyone involved...homeowner, builder, subcontractors, vendors, etc. Over the past 19 years, I’ve been fortunate to develop strong working relationships with so many great people in our construction industry. I like to be flexible when it comes to how I work with builders/homeowners as each project requires something different. I enjoy a simple paint consultation just as much as digging into whole house design, and everything in between.   

In 2020 I finally decided to take the leap and open my own showroom, Element Design Collective! Along the way one of my best friends and a longtime interior designer Kerri Rossi came on board. Currently, we have several additional seasoned designers working through the showroom. It’s a bright beautiful space with a curated collection of the best materials, designed to inspire.   

As for myself - I grew up in Bend! Early on I moved to Portland, and then Phoenix to be "in the city", I loved it! It didn’t take long to realize that Bend was still "home" and decided to settle in here. My husband and I bought the family homestead outside of Tumalo. We love being out on our property with our Malamute & Swissy. We have a small "petting zoo" that we enjoy along with friends and family...Llamas, Nigerian dwarf goats, honey bees, and a bunch of egg-laying hens. Such good living! So between that and my design career, I couldn’t be happier.
